Maimeri Oil Paint

DVD    "Beginning the Portrait - The Quick Sketch in Oil"

  

"Beginning the Portrait" is a one hour oil painting demonstration from blank canvas to recognizable image of the model.  Using split screen/two camera imaging, you can watch Luana mix colors on the palette and see the canvas and model at the same time. Filmed at Cheap Joe's Art Stuff Workshop location in Boone, North Carolina, you will enjoy this short concise "lesson" on how to begin quickly, mix colors, and capture a likeness.

From Luana's (c) Great Faces! Workshop -Parts and Pieces Series...For the serious beginner painter or the beginning professional portrait painter.  Demonstrations are consistent and precise. Unique in its production, in this DVD Luana demonstrates the eye first in pastel, then in oil, and finally in watercolor.  Young and aged, male and female, watch as these eyes appear easily before you.

Greeting Cards: Original paintings in full color on face of card, blank interior, with eight envelopes

 "Angeli"          Warm colors of the marble of the Vatican surround the angels of the waterfont at Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, Italy. The original painting was 11 x 14 in oil on linen.

"Primary Colors"     From the artist's kitchen, blue glass with red and yellow fruit on the white dish towel creates a lively, color-filled 16 x 20 oil painting from a daily scene.

"Sunflowers, Lemons, and Pineapple"    A moody 16 x 20 painting of a typical Italian table with sunflowers dancing in a clear glass vase above a mound of lemons in a blue glass bowl.
